The Elite Racing Club registered colours are black cap, white jacket with three large black spots. They are amongst the most well known racing colours in British horseracing today.
Every Member shares these colours, thereby adding to the camaraderie.
It really is a thrill to be at the races when a horse canters down to the start carrying the famous colours and even better if the horse returns first past the post!
Prize money won by horses owned by Elite Racing Club Limited (NOT including any horses owned by Elite Syndicates shareholders) during the period of membership, is distributed equally amongst the Members at the end of the Member's 12 months membership period. The sum to date (since 1992) has exceeded £2.5million, but there can never be any guarantee of any future level of prize money, given that this is dependent on how well the horses perform on the racecourse and the quantity of Members at the point of each race.
