Racecourse Hospitality

Racecourse hospitality events are very popular with Members.

Packages vary from racecourse to racecourse and costs depend on the day of the week and the prestige of the racing.

The Club tries to ensure that there's a hospitality event whenever there's an important runner in a big race. For example, over 250 people attended a marquee event when Soviet Song ran in the 1,000 Guineas and another similar event was organised when Dandino ran in the St.Leger.

These events are a great opportunity to meet fellow Elite Racing Club Members and indeed we are aware of long-term friendships being formed as a result of attending a hospitality event.

New hospitalities are regularly being negotiated with racecourses and announced in the weekly magazine.

Read what some of our Members have to say...

  • M.P., Rotherham, says; "Thank you for the enjoyable day that was had at Newmarket. It is always lovely to be with a gathering of Elite Members who are so friendly."
  • Dave S., Sawbridgeworth, says; "Wow! What a day. I was lucky that my birthday coincided with the Club's hospitality day at Newmarket races on 19 May. The day was superbly hosted and the 'icing on my birthday cake' was that you managed to get a photo call with Frankie Dettori!"
  • G.H., London, says; "What a lovely day I had at Sandown Park. Good company with friendliness being well to the fore. To make my day complete, my ticket was picked out of the black box and I won a framed photo. Added to that, I got home to find when I opened my post that my Member Profile had been printed in the magazine. May Elite Racing Club go from strength to strength."
  • Pete & Nicky B., Uffculme, say; A big thank you to everyone on table 1 and beyond for making our first attendance to the Club's racecourse hospitality at Exeter such fun. The food was good and the company excellent. The weather on top of Haldon Hill was typically challenging, too, but added to the experience. It was memorable."
  • Ian T., New Milton, says; "The Elite marquee at the Cheltenham Festival was excellent. The company, the food and the organisation were great, plus I’d backed Rock On Ruby at 16-1 just after the Christmas Hurdle. Happy days!"
