  • Amalfi Bay

    Amalfi Bay

6yo b g - Lope De Vega ex Affinity Trained by Anthony Honeyball.

A son of French Classic winner and world-class sire Lope De Vega, this gelding is out of middle-distance winner Affinity (by Sadler’s Wells) and is a half-brother to Listed winner Tiffany and two Listed-placed winners. A winner of two middle-distance Flat handicaps at Epsom, Amalfi Bay moved to Anthony Honeyball in December 2022. After three runs over hurdles, including a second at Exeter, he looks the type for handicap hurdles, following a wind operation.

  • Charmaine

    Charmaine

3yo b f - Camelot ex Zest Trained by James Fanshawe.

Charmaine is by the outstanding racehorse Camelot, whose best runner to date is triple Gr.1 winner Luxembourg (bred on a similar cross to Charmaine). James Fanshawe trained Charmaine’s dam, the useful winner and Listed-placed Zest, and Charmaine’s granddam is a half-sister (by Sadler’s Wells) to World Champion Mare Soviet Song. Charmaine debuted at Kempton in August but returned home sore and was found to have a hairline fracture of a tibia. Having recovered well, James hopes to have her back on the track in February or March.

  • General Medrano

    General Medrano

7yo b g - Ocovango ex Talween Trained by Emma Lavelle.

General Medrano was purchased by Elite Syndicates after finishing an eyecatching third in a NH Flat race for point-to-point horses in March 2021. General Medrano showed promise in his first three runs for Emma Lavelle. Following a wind operation, he impressed when easily winning a maiden hurdle at Fontwell in February 2023, and when a close fourth in the £100,000 novices' handicap hurdle at Sandown in April. He showed he is on an upward curve with two wins over fences since the summer break and is an exciting chasing prospect.

  • Harmoniser

    Harmoniser

3yo b g - Sea The Moon ex Harmonica Trained by Roger Varian.

Harmoniser (unraced) is by Sea The Moon, a highly impressive German Derby winner and sire of many useful Group race winners, most notably the Coronation Stakes winner Alpine Star. His dam, a half-sister to the Listed winner Tiffany out of a half-sister to multiple Gr.1 winner Soviet Song, won twice over 1m and was placed in a Listed race. This gelding, who is a half-brother to three-time winner Yeoman, has developed well in training and should hopefully come into his own at three.

  • Kordylia

    Kordylia

2yo b f - Kingman ex Tribute Act Trained by James Fanshawe.

This filly (unraced) was quite a late foal (born 27 April), so still has some developing to do, but should blossom into an attractive 2yo. Her sire will again cover for a fee of £125,000 in 2024 and has produced 10 Gr.1 winners, including Sauterne and Feed The Flame in 2023. Her dam Tribute Act was a very useful racehorse for James Fanshawe, winning three times and also finishing a wonderful second in the Gr.2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot, making the daughter of Exceed And Excel an outstanding broodmare prospect as a half-sister to Gr.1 winner Ribbons.

  • Laverne

    Laverne

2yo b f - Mayson ex Loretta Trained by Julie Camacho.

This unraced filly's sire was a Gr.1-winning sprinter who has produced some fast horses, including Gr.1 winner Oxted. Her dam was placed on the Flat and is a good-looking mare who is extremely well-bred, being a sister to 18-time winner (inc. twice at Gr.3 level) Judicial and half-sister to dual Gr.1 winner Marsha. She is quite a small filly, who looks athletic and will hopefully be active on the racecourse as a 2yo.

  • New Statesman

    New Statesman

3yo b g - Churchill ex Madison Trained by Ed Walker.

New Statesman is a son of the successful young sire Churchill, a European Champion 2yo and dual Classic winner, whose best runners to date are the French stars Vadeni and Blue Rose Cen. His dam, the late Madison, comes from the Club’s highly successful Kalinka line and her only other runner is the winning filly Zapphire. New Statesman is bred on the tried and tested Galileo (Churchill’s sire) and Danehill Dancer (Madison’s grandsire) cross. He looked very inexperienced on his racecourse debut and should hopefully progress with racing.

  • Overture

    Overture

3yo ch f - New Approach ex Tribute Act Trained by Sir Mark Prescott.

Overture’s dam Tribute Act won three times and was placed second in the Gr.2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot, making her an outstanding broodmare prospect as a half-sister to Gr.1 winner Ribbons. Overture is by the multiple Gr.1 and Derby winner New Approach, who has produced many Gr. 1 winners, including Classic winners Masar, Dawn Approach and Talent. Overture is a very tall filly who showed promise in three starts at two and should be well-handicapped ahead of her 3yo campaign.

  • Petula

    Petula

2yo b f - Calyx ex Affinity Trained by Sir Mark Prescott.

This filly (unraced) looks a nice type who should continue to improve. She is a half-sister to the four-time winner, including at Listed level, Tiffany, who is also trained by Sir Mark Prescott. Her sire was a high-class sprinter and produced several useful 2yos from his first runners in 2023, including two Gr.2 winners. Her winning dam is by Sadler's Wells and has produced five winners from six runners to date.

  • Polka

    Polka

2yo b f - Territories ex Roubles Trained by Julie Camacho.

This filly (unraced) is a granddaughter of the Club’s superstar racemare, Soviet Song, and is a half-sister to the juvenile winners First Of May and Zachary. Her sire was a Gr.1-winning 3yo who has produced the Gr.1 winners Regional and Rougir and a number of useful 2yos in 2023. This filly is a good-looking type who will hopefully be able to follow in her siblings' footsteps by winning as a 2yo, and hopefully at a higher level.

  • Quiet Sea

    Quiet Sea

4yo b f - Sea The Moon ex Kind Of Hush Trained by Harry Charlton.

This filly appears to have a sounder temperament, more size and to be a later-maturing type than her previous two siblings of racing age (which include the juvenile Flat winner Maurice Dancer). Her sire was a highly impressive German Derby winner and sire of many useful Group race winners, most notably the Coronation Stakes winner Alpine Star. Quiet Sea made an encouraging debut when second in a fillies' maiden at Ascot in May but was later sidelined with a stifle and then knee issue issue and will hopefully be back on the track soon.

  • Sanditon

    Sanditon

2yo ch c - Footstepsinthesand ex Canasta Trained by -.

This colt (unraced) isn't the biggest but has a nice frame and should develop into a good-looking horse. His sire, by Giant's Causeway, was an unbeaten winner of the 2,000 Guineas and has produced many classy winners over the years, including at Gr.1 level. His dam won over 1m1f+ at three and comes from the family of Gr.2 winner Three Valleys.

  • Sarsen

    Sarsen

6yo gr g - Noble Mission ex Kelley Marie. Trained by Anthony Honeyball.

Sarsen is an attractive grey from a family stacked full of winners in the United States, by Frankel's Gr.1-winning brother Noble Mission, a winner of the Champion Stakes and now a Gr.1-producing sire. He showed some promise in three NH Flat races and his first couple of outings over hurdles, for Alan King. Subsequently given time to strengthen up and moved to Anthony Honeyball, it is hoped that he can improve from his stable debut in October.

  • Silent City

    Silent City

    2yo b f - Cityscape ex Kind Of Hush Trained by -.

This is a big, raw filly (unraced) with lots of scope, who is likely to take some time to reach full maturity. Her well-bred, Gr.1-winning sire has produced several useful horses over the years, including Gr.1 winner La City Blanche. Her dam Kind Of Hush has quite a nice pedigree but showed modest form on the racecourse and has produced one winner to date, the 2yo handicap winner Maurice Dancer.

  • Tiffany

    Tiffany

4yo b f - Farhh ex Affinity Trained by Sir Mark Prescott.

This filly is an athletic type by the dual Gr.1-winner Farhh and she has lived up to her pedigree this season. By a Champion Stakes (1m2f) winner, out of a 1m4f-winning half-sister to Soviet Song by Sadler’s Wells, she improved to record her first win in a 7f novice stakes at Wolverhampton in June. Since then, she has stepped up in trip and won three more races, including a prestigious Listed race at Hanover, Germany, on 17 September. Tiffany should be an exciting filly in 2024.

  • Tremolo

    Tremolo

2yo br c - Bated Breath ex Harmonica Trained by Harry Charlton.

This is a highly attractive and very athletic colt (unraced) who has impressed with his handsome looks since the day he was foaled. His sire was a top sprinter and is a consistent sire of useful horses including at Gr.1 level. His dam, who is a half-sister to the Listed winner Tiffany and is out of a half-sister to multiple Gr.1 winner Soviet Song, won twice over 1m and was placed in a Listed race. His dam's first runner, Yeoman, is a three-time winner.

  • Zapphire

    Zapphire

4yo b f - Zoffany ex Madison Trained by Julie Camacho.

Zapphire is the first foal out of the late Madison, from the Club’s successful Kalinka line, which produced the Gr. 1 winners Soviet Song, Ribbons and Marsha. This filly is by the late Zoffany, a son of Dansili and a useful sire, including of 2021’s 1,000 Guineas winner Mother Earth. Zapphire had one run as a 2yo, when finishing a very eyecatching third (of 11) in a novice stakes at Newcastle in November 2022. This season, she has improved for the switch to handicaps and won over 7f at Haydock in August.
